Falling Apart

So I have had a really sore throat for the past week. It hurts so bad to swallow and drink and talk and it has just gotten worse. I finally decided to go to the doctor when the urge to ram a toothbrush down my throat almost became a reality. This morning was my appointment.

Turns out I have a severe ear infection, a severe infection in my throat (Not tonsillitis which is good…I think), so I got a Z-Pack of antibiotics for that.

She also took my blood pressure. She said “Oh man, you are killing me with this!” My blood pressure is 180 over 120. She was not happy about that. Also, she noticed some weirdness with my heartbeat so I have to get complete suite of blood work done so they can check out the heart stuff, my kidneys, my thyroid, and a ton of other things. I will also have to wear a 24 hour heart monitor so they can see if they can find anything there.

In addition to that, they want to do an MRI on my head to check out some headache issues I have been having for about a year.

Oh yeah, and I have asthma. So now I have to carry an inhaler everywhere with me. Ok, Awesome!
